"Access Ability has provided a suite of consultancy services to McDonalds Restaurants of Ireland. They delivered a comprehensive training programme in Disability Awareness and Managing Disability in the Workplace to all our managers.

It was greatly received by all staff who found the training professional, informative and highly interactive.

Through Access Ability's Access Services, we have ensured that a number of our restaurants are fully wheelchair accessible. Part of our reason for working with Access Ability is that their audit system goes beyond minimum standards to incorporate International Best Practice.

Furthermore, we have had all our policies and procedures evaluated and disability proofed as a positive action measure and to ensure compliance with Irish Equality legislation. We are now embarking on a programme entitled Hiring for Ability, which is tailor-made for McDonald's to increase our employment of people with disabilities. Working with Access Ability has been a tremendous asset to McDonald's. Their vast expertise in disability management is invaluable and has enabled the organisation to embrace diversity in the workplace."
